Quest RPG: Brian's Journey is a 2000 role-playing video game released on the Game Boy Color. It is a port of the Nintendo 64 game Quest 64; however it is not a direct port as there are differences between the two.

Gameplay

Much like the Nintendo 64 version, the game leveled up using experience the player gained from fighting enemies to level up the player's crystals, which in turn, give the player magic spells.

Plot

The game's story is set in Celtland, a fantastic medieval world that resembles Ireland. The plot is a close replica of the original story. The playable character is an apprentice mage named Brian. Brian sets off to find his father who has left the monastery of the mages—the player learns later that his father is looking for a thief who has stolen the "Eletale Book". The player must also collect elemental amulets, which have been hoarded by powerful criminals and are integral in the defeat of the game's final boss.

Reception

Quest RPG so far has a score of 45% from GameRankings.[1] IGN gave the game a 4 out of 10.[3]
