In regards to the paragraph about Beeston buying Sir Henry Herbert's wife a pair of gloves worth "at least 20 shillings" …

I could not verify the statement in the book cited. Google Books has the full text of The poetics of primitive accumulation. I was able to find the statement in another book (page 66) and made the change accordingly.
