“consort to Isabella, Princess of Asturias”

[edit]

Isabella was not princess of Asturias during their marriage.

Isabella was heir presumptive (and Princess of Asturias) from:

  • December 20th, 1851 to November 28th, 1857 (birth of her younger brother, future king Alphonde XII),
  • and, later, from December 29th, 1874 (calling of Alphonde XII to the Spanish throne) to Septembe, 11th, 1880 (birth of Mercedes, eldest child of the king).

“Gaetan married Isabella, Princess of Asturias (...) on 13 May 1868 in Madrid.” Gaetan died on November 26th, 1871, so he never had been married to any princess of Asturias... Hégésippe | ±Θ± 17:05, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
