Estonian kroon

[edit]

As it is clear now Estonia will be the next country to adopt euro. Should we add it right now or some moment later? --Dima1 (talk) 13:11, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Later, because on the 13 July, 2010 ECOFIN meeting finds place. At this meeting the ECOFIN will make the final decision about Estonia accession to euro area and confirmation of exchange rate. However, it's obvious that the irrevocable exchange rate will be 1€=15,6466 EEK. Source: [1]

Estonian rate is not correct. --Dima1 (talk) 21:26, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, the kuna is not a historical currency

[edit]

This is a template about the historical currencies of the European Union. The Croatian kuna is, as of September 17th 2022, obviously not historical and the only legal and official currency of Croatia, so it should not be in this list. Wikipedia does not predict the future. System of Exchange as by the Table

[edit]

When there is an Exchange between two European Union Country like from Portugal PTE to Germany DEM, the rate of PTE 200.482 will be exchange to Germany (going up) DEM 1.95583, an ECU (a Currency Unit) like 200.482 will goes out from Portugal PTE (200.482 - 1.95583 = 198.52617) the excess in that exchange (198.52617 ECU) will be kept by the European Central Bank for future exchanges like example of Dutch NLG to Belgian BEF), (40.3399 - 2.20371 = 38.13619) Dutch to Belgium exchange, we all see by that table and value that Dutch NLG is only 2.20371 way more smaller than Belgium BEF, so the savings and keeped ECu between the Exchange of Portugal to Germany will be deducted by 38.13619 ECU, the remaining ECU in the Eurosystem will be (198.52617 - 38.13619 = 160.38998 ECU..Exchange or Trade going out of E.U. will be by the Euro of ECU Currency.... 222.127.97.100 (talk) 17:07, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
