- Google books give some results: Book by Fyodor Razzakov , where it is written that the film inspired extremely popular The Elusive Avengers. It is mentioned in book Voices in Labyrinth (Голоса в лабиринте). Google gives several results where someone mentions that he watched the film, or remembered it, indicating that it was famous film. In the book Cinema of soviet Latvia (Кино Советской Латвии) the following is written (page 69):"the special place has the work of Aleksandrs Leimanis, whose films, The Wagtail's Army and its sequel, still are deservedly popular. The search made me sure the film was famous, though hardly there would be English language sources on film. Keep. Kirill C1 (talk) 16:11, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
