Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Same views towards same article (Black sea slave trade). Cites the same sources as sockpuppeteer (now blocked & investigation closed), similar writing styles. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 11:15, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is clearly the same user. They have also used the IP-adress 178.133.240.86: [1]--Aciram (talk) 11:24, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A third sock puppet may be IP-adress 178.133.216.74: [2]--Aciram (talk) 12:27, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The user:Frankovsky S may be another sock puppet: [3]--Aciram (talk) 18:42, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Note: the user claims that the three accounts are all three different individuals, who all have the same issues with the article subject. I am not certain how this affects the investigation.--Aciram (talk) 18:56, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BOLDly adding sock Frankovsky_S, per User:Aciram. Account was created 19 February, with similar global footprint to master, yet zero edits until today, both to Talk:Black Sea slave trade in similar style to master and to UkrainianPK. As that's the oldest account so far, it could be the correct master. Wikishovel (talk) 21:54, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

  • UkrainianPK is  Possible. Frankovsky_S is technically Red X Unrelated.-- Ponyobons mots 20:29, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Clerk assistance requested: - this case seems like it needs to be renamed to Frankovsky S, since that account is slightly older.  Blocked and tagged based on behavioral evidence. Particularly, [4] and [5] are identical in argument, structure and wording with a few slight rephrases. They're also a very close match to comments made by the sockmaster and previous socks.
