Roman Curia

[edit]

Any member know how Roman Curia got its name?Manabimasu (talk) 05:07, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Catholic Diocese of ...

[edit]

Would changing Roman Catholic to Latin Catholic be acceptable for the name of the dioceses or archdioceses? I know that the Roman rite is the predominant rite, but wouldn’t the diocese also have authority over non-Roman rite Latin liturgical rite? Thoughts? @Elizium23: Care to elaborate?Manabimasu (talk) 05:11, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:COMMONNAME; many dioceses take the name "Roman Catholic Diocese of..." and I would wager zero take the name "Latin Catholic Diocese of..." I would be interested to see logos, websites, letterhead etc. of any such (Arch)Diocese or Parish. Elizium23 (talk) 05:26, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
