Group D of UEFA Euro 2024 takes place from 16 to 25 June 2024.[1] The group contains Poland, the Netherlands, Austria and France.

  • The winner of Group D will advance to play the runner-up of Group F.
  • The runner-up of Group D will advance to play the runner-up of Group E.
  • The third-placed team of Group D might advance to play the winner of Group B, Group C or Group E.

Discipline[edit]

Fair play points will be used as a tiebreaker if the head-to-head and overall records of teams are tied (and if a penalty shoot-out is not applicable as a tiebreaker). These are calculated based on yellow and red cards received in all group matches as follows:[2]

  • yellow card = 1 point
  • red card as a result of two yellow cards = 3 points
  • direct red card = 3 points
  • yellow card followed by direct red card = 4 points

Only one of the above deductions will be applied to a player in a single match.
